SHARING THE UNSEEN REALM

The very first time I recognized myself experiencing transcendent drawings was in 1986 and was shocked myself at my behavior. Then when I flipped on the television the spacecraft Commander had just blown up.

Although, I have been an artist all my life and considered a very fine realist secretly I was compelled occassionally to lose myself In these drawings ànd I have hundreds of them.

I do not think transcendent moments are exclusive to my own experience at all.  To be honest I think that is what art is all about.

My Favorite Work

At the end of the day, the work I enjoy the most is when I truly feel connected to my subject, no matter what the medium.  Within the realm of realism, what artist needs a subject that cannot command their focus.  Heart and soul, I fell in love with this swan.

One evening, behind an Omni Hotel as I sat on the ground to focus on a duck, I was pinched on the forearm by a black swan, of which I would have otherwise been unaware. Taken by the elegance and boldness of that swan and his beautiful mate, I forgot about the duck.

Early next day I watched the swans and changed the way I swam, so I could swim like the swans. I researched swan mating habits and developed an increase respect for my married friends. And I did more line drawings and cut outs of that swan then Picasso ever did  studies of the swordsman  for RAPE OF THE SABINES.

My Life Today

Because so much of my life has been absorbed by my art I can with all honesty tell you I am a masterful artist. I might get absorbed with this medium or that kind of subject matter for a year or a decade but at the end of the day I am pretty polished in several areas where only angels would not fear to tread.

For example,  I can walk up to a wall and start painting a likeness of a  dog that is present on it.  You can be fairly sure, I am going to capture the essence of that dog in that mural.

I am lucky to be so versatile and doing what I love as my profession.

It allows me to travel and meet interesting new people  and their pets. I hope we are able to work together soon!

"If you're looking for someone to be the life of your next party, look no further. So many of my guests were laughing and crying, sometimes both!"
